Why Being a New Mum doesn’t mean you can’t Keep Fit

If you enjoy an active lifestyle you may have found that pregnancy has slowed you down, particularly in the latter stages as your bump expands, making it more difficult to get comfortable.  You may be looking forward to the birth of your baby in more ways than one, so that you can enjoy trips to the park and getting back into your fitness routine.

Now there’s an even better way to keep fit with your baby thanks to the new Bugaboo Runner.  This jogging pushchair has been specifically designed to accommodate fitness fans who don’t want to compromise on their level of activity just because they have a baby in tow.  With the Bugaboo Runner, parents can take care of their precious little ones, giving them fresh air and an exciting adventure at the same time as keeping fit.

What are the main benefits of the Bugaboo Runner?

The Bugaboo Runner comes in two versions – a complete jogging stroller or an extension for existing Bugaboo owners.  Whichever version you choose you can enjoy:

  • The ability to move faster when pushing your baby
  • A large under seat basket to hold all of your baby essentials
  • The ability to seat your baby facing you or facing the world
  • Height adjustable handle bars so you can run comfortably whilst pushing
  • Easy access speed control brake so that you have complete control over how fast you go

If you choose the extension version to adapt your existing Bugaboo it is compatible with:

(1) Bugaboo Cameleon³ seat
(2) Bugaboo Bee (2010 model and onwards) seat
(3) Bugaboo Donkey seat - version 1.1(recognisable by its wooden seat board)
(4) Bugaboo Buffalo seat

There is now no excuse to not get back into shape after having a baby, though we would not recommend you take up jogging if you have never done it before without first consulting your doctor or trainer.
